Nautical Inspirations

I have big dreams that one day I will own my own boat and live near the sea.Ahhhhhhhhhhh, for now, I'll just have to settle for designing cute nautical outfits.I have been working with this nautical theme for the past couple of weeks and I cannot get enough of it! The shop has lots of trims and fabrics to go along with this theme and I already own several embroidery designs to play with so it was so easy to coordinate outfits to make up. Enjoy!

  8. Oh Ivey, they're darling!! I love the little polka dot one. Isn't #5 yet another adaptation of the sweet Charlotte pattern? Great job, as usual.

  10. Thank you all for your sweet comments!!! If anyone is interested in the pattern and fabric info just go to my flickr gallery and open the picture of the outfit you like and the info is listed underneath the picture. Sorry, I have not had a chance to retype the info to this blog page. Julie, you have a good eye! #5 is not Charlotte but it was one of the inspirations for me to try the ruffle front dress. It's called "Birthday Party Dress" by Oliver + s.

  14. Was the black/white chevron dress made with Michael Miller 2X2 stripe fabric and sewn into a chevron pattern with a seam down the middle of the dress? I love the dress. There is a lot of inspiration in your flicker gallery. So glad I found it.
